Stopped in at store with two different fireplace ideas. Within minutes had good idea of price and what was involved in each. Estimator came to our house, detailed benefits of both ideas, and gave us price. Finalized plan, got approximate install date. They were able to install weeks earlier, which was great. I made several inquiries for a piece of smoke pipe that could change length. Patiently the lady at the counter went over my objectives and propsed a solution that would meet my needs, She even priced the solutions in two materials. The product knowledge, patience, and active listening she demonstrated was much appreciated. 5★ Review I had problems with an expensive electric fireplace I bought elsewhere, and Emma at Wilk’s Stove was incredible! Even though I didn’t buy from her, she took the time to explain everything and helped me get it fixed. Excellent service and expertise — I’d only deal with them from now on. As soon as I walked in the door and told Emma what I was looking for, she pointed me to exactly the right model for my needs (Hearthstone Lincoln 8060). Her communication throughout the ordering, purchasing, and installation process was excellent, and the entire team demonstrated a high level of professionalism and good humour through what ended up being an awkward installation situation (not their doing). They made it work. Also, both Emma and Tim coached me (a newbie to wood burning) how to use it properly and well so I would be successful. I was definitely not cold last winter. I love my wood stove.
